About Faculty of Education for Human Sciences
The Faculty of Education was established in 1993 and initially included two departments: History and Arabic Language. Later, the college expanded to include the departments of Arabic Language, English Language, History, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, and Educational and Psychological Sciences. In 2009, the college was split into two colleges: (Safi Al-Din Al-Hilli College of Education), which includes the departments of Arabic Language, English Language, History, Geography, and Educational and Psychological Sciences; and (Ibn Hayyan College of Education), which includes the departments of Mathematics and Physics. The college's name was changed from Safi Al-Din Al-Hilli to Faculty of Education for Human Sciences. The college aims to graduate scientifically and educationally qualified personnel to work in secondary education (intermediate and preparatory) or other institutions such as correctional departments, scientific research centers, and others. Graduates are also qualified to continue their studies to obtain higher academic degrees, including Master's and Doctorate, in various fields of knowledge.
